What is the standard call time for event staffing?

Most event calls have a 4-hour minimum. We handle everything from short equipment strikes to multi-week festival builds with hundreds of workers.

Can you provide stagehands for last-minute load-ins?

Yes. We maintain a large roster of on-call stagehands and road crews in San Diego. We can often fulfill short-notice requests for load-ins, load-outs, and emergency technical support.

What certifications do your technical crews hold?

Our technical staff includes ETCP-certified riggers, experienced FOH audio engineers, and LED wall specialists. All our workers are trained in site-specific safety protocols and equipment handling.

Do you handle payroll and insurance for event crews?

Yes. Hands On Labor is the employer of record. We handle all payroll, taxes, and insurance (including workers' comp and general liability), reducing your administrative burden and risk.
