Are your workers insured and covered for workers' compensation?
Yes. All workers placed through Hands On Labor are covered under our workers' compensation insurance policy. We handle all payroll taxes, insurance, and compliance so you can focus on getting the job done.
What is your service area?
We primarily serve all of San Diego County, including downtown San Diego, Chula Vista, El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, and surrounding communities. For large-scale events or special projects, we can also deploy crews throughout Southern California. Contact us to discuss your location.
How do I submit a staffing request?

How are workers screened?
Every worker in our pool has been interviewed by our dispatch team and evaluated for reliability, experience, and professionalism. We maintain records of prior performance on assignments and prioritize workers with proven track records. For roles requiring specific certifications (forklift, safety, etc.), we verify credentials before placement.
What if a placed worker doesn't meet my expectations?
Contact us immediately and we'll address it. We back our placements with a replacement guarantee — if a worker isn't performing to standard, we'll replace them at no additional cost. Our goal is to make sure your operation keeps moving without disruption.
Can I hire a temporary worker permanently?
Yes. If you'd like to bring a placed worker on as a permanent employee, we offer a conversion option. Please contact us to discuss the terms. Direct solicitation of placed workers without going through Hands On Labor is subject to conversion fees per our service agreement.
